❤️❤️ Miss Janet has been pouring into the children of our church longer than most of us can remember. She has some trouble seeing and sometimes needs assistance getting around. Tonight, little Lucy noticed Miss Janet a little turned around outside the sanctuary and took it upon herself to escort Miss Janet into VBS worship. What a special moment to witness! 😭 God is at work in both of these amazing ladies!

Even if you missed tonight or haven't registered, you are welcome and invited to join us the rest of the week. For years Group has been a very Biblical, interactive VBS. It is by far the leading VBS used across denominations in the United States. Like other churches, we chose this years’ Roar curriculum for those reasons. As we worked through the daily lessons we notice some problematic issues involving cultural insensitivity. We have contacted Group about those issues and have rewritten lessons so as to insure we honor every culture and every person as an image bearer of Christ. Our desire is that all children experience Jesus while at the same time being aware of different cultures and customs. Church should be a safe place for ALL people and we will work hard to be make that a reality this week. The Gospel will be preached, the Bible will be taught, laughter and prayers will rise up and Jesus will be glorified. We will have an amazing week as we learn to love God and people more fully.
